Connecting children with nature and learning Spanish

Evergreen Nature School offers a unique approach to education, focusing on discovery, cooperation, exploration, and problem-solving. Our early learning program is an innovative alternative to traditional preschool and kindergarten programs, providing a non-academic nature immersion experience with an emphasis on Spanish language learning. Research shows that exposing children to different languages at an early age allows for easier absorption and future language acquisition. That's why all of our staff are fluent in Spanish and prioritize speaking it throughout the day, promoting natural language immersion through constant repetition and engagement.

At Evergreen, we believe in spending every day outside, rain or shine, to fully embrace nature and all its teachings. This allows for fun and engaging learning opportunities that are often missed when staying indoors. We encourage children to take risks and develop their own ideas, rather than teaching them what to think. Our main goals are to foster curiosity, kindness, self-confidence, resilience, and a love for learning and nature.

Give your child the gift of self-inquiry, cooperative learning, and experiential education with Evergreen Nature School. Start their educational journey the right way, with nature immersion at the core.

Our program runs yearly from September to May, and we hold Summer Camps June-August.
