Evergreen Summer Camp invites children into active, outdoor days filled with exploration, movement, and connection. Each week follows a familiar Evergreen rhythm while offering new activities, games, challenges, and adventures shaped by the group, the environment, and the season.

Camp days include daily hikes, nature exploration, outdoor games, group activities, and time for social connection and free play. Guided by caring educators, children build confidence, resilience, and cooperation as they engage with the natural world in meaningful and joyful ways.

Whether children join for one session or return for multiple weeks, each week feels fresh and engaging while maintaining a consistent, supportive structure that helps children feel comfortable and excited to return.

COST (per camp session): $250

Early Bird pricing $230 if you enroll by March 31st

(siblings get a 10% discount)

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 2:00pm

Friday add on - $65

Locations: We'll be rotating locations within southern Lexington, which may include Veteran’s Park, McConnell Springs, Waveland, The Arboretum and Raven Run.

How our days are structured
Our camp days follow a gentle, predictable rhythm that balances movement, exploration, and rest:

9:00 Drop-off and welcome activities
9:30 Morning stretches and snack
10:30 Nature walk and open exploration
12:00 Group activity
12:30 Lunch and free play
1:00 Group activity
1:30 Closing circle and clean-up
2:00 Pick-up

Who leads the camps?
Evergreen camps are led by experienced educators and outdoor guides who support children in play-based, outdoor learning environments. Staff are carefully selected and supported by Evergreen leadership. All staff working with children meet required background check standards and have current first aid training

What are the group sizes?
We keep small groups for safety and connection.
Ages 3–5: ~7:1
Ages 6–12: ~9:1

What are the camp hours?
Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
An optional Friday add-on available for select weeks.

What if the weather is bad?
Camp runs rain or shine. In cases of extreme or unsafe weather, we may adjust the day or cancel for safety. Families are notified as early as possible.

What should my child bring?
Lunch, snack, water bottle, extra clothes, sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate layers, and sun protection. Expect outdoor play in all conditions.

Do you provide food?
No. Families pack all food. We do not require peanut-free lunches.

Does my child need to be potty trained?
Yes. All campers must be fully potty trained.

Can I choose individual days or partial weeks?
No. Enrollment is for full weekly sessions only.

Do you offer early drop-off or late pick-up?
No. Camp hours are firm to ensure proper supervision.

Where are camps held?
Evergreen is a nomadic outdoor program. Locations rotate through permitted parks and natural spaces. We rotate between Veteran’s Park, McConnell Springs, Waveland, The Arboretum and Raven Run.

What is your cancellation policy?
A $50 deposit is non-refundable.
30+ days before camp: refund minus deposit.
Within 30 days: no refunds, but credit (minus deposit) may be applied to a future Evergreen program.

What if Evergreen cancels?
If an entire session is canceled, families may choose a full refund or program credit.
